Alright, this is starting to get ridiculous.  After Kim Min-Woo's incident this weekend, several news sources are reporting that today infielder Sin Hyeon-Cheol was booked without detention for a hit-and-run accident that occured on April 8.

According to the prosecutor, Sin was involved in a traffic accident in the Gangnam district of Seoul at 4:37am on April 8. Sin struck a taxi, and when the taxi driver got out of his car, Sin angrily rammed the taxi driver in the knees several times with his front bumper and then drove away.

So far it's not clear how they tracked him down, why it took so long, and why nobody knew about it. It's also unclear how they have determined that he was drunk at the time, but all of the articles I have seen mention this. I'm no expert on Korean law, but ramming a guy with a car and then fleeing the scene of an accident sounds pretty serious to me.

Nexen representatives have said they knew nothing about this incident until today.

Sin is a reserve infielder who has only seen nine at-bats this season. He has one hit, putting his batting average at .111, which may be lower than his blood alcohol content.
