Newsis is reporting that the KBO has fined Doosan designated hitter Hong Seong-Heun one million won following an incident that occurred during the top of the 5th inning of Doosan's Friday, April 5th loss to Seoul rival LG.

Hong was at the plate with a full count when he was called out looking at strike three. After throwing his bat and his helmet, Hong yelled at and chest-bumped the home plate umpire. He was immediately ejected from the game.

Full video of the incident can be seen below.

Initial Korean netizen reaction seems to be of the opinion that the fine was too low.

Hong also issued an apology today. Stating, "I failed to control my emotions. Umpires are deserving of respect. What I did was wrong. It is all my fault."
