In the top of the 3rd inning of today's game against the Nexen Heroes at Mokdong Stadium in Seoul, Lotte Giants left fielder Kim Moon-Ho suffered what appears to be a rather serious injury. After laying down a bunt, Kim made an effort to avoid a tag-out from Nexen pitcher Andy Van Hekken. Doing so, Kim appeared to trip over the front of the base with his left foot. Kim was unable to stand up, and an ambulance drove onto the field to retrieve him. Kim was taken to Ewha University Hospital in Mokdong. An official diagnosis is not available yet, but a Lotte spokesperson has said that Kim was experiencing extreme pain in both his ankle and knee. See the video below to get a better idea of what happened.

If there's anything positive to say about this, umpires ruled Kim safe at first base.
