Samsung 9 - KIA 1, Pohang

KIA starting pitcher Henry Sosa gave up seven runs in six innings, earning his first loss of the year. KIA's offense continues to struggle, managing only one run in the 9th inning. KIA has now lost four games in a row, and has scored a total of only two runs in those four games. Samsung, on the other hand, has won five games in a row and looks to challenge Nexen for the top spot in the league.

Nexen 5 - SK 2, Seoul (Mokdong)

Nexen starter Kim Byung-Hun had a terrible second inning, giving up a double and beaning three batters, the last one with the bases loaded, giving SK the game's first run. Three bean balls by one pitcher in one inning ties the all time KBO record. SK held the lead until the bottom of the 5th when Lee Seong-Yeol hit a solo homerun to tie the score at 1-1. SK would answer in the top of the 6th when a single to right-center by Han Dong-Min would drive in Cho Dong-Hwa, giving SK the lead at 2-1. In the bottom of the 8th Nexen scored four runs on two walks and three hits, which was enough for the win.

Lotte 4 - LG 3, Busan (Sajik)

Lotte wasted no time going after LG starter Radhames Liz, scoring three runs in the first two innings. LG would manage to keep the game close, scoring three runs later in the game. The game winner for Lotte came in the bottom of the 8th when catcher Kang Min-Ho hit a double, and then advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt by Jeon Jun-Woo. The next batter, Jeong Hoon, hit a ground ball directly at LG third baseman Jeong Seong-Hoon. Kang was off of the bag at third, and it appeared that there was a very good chance that he would be tagged out, but Jeong Seong-Hoon bobbled the ball allowing Kang to return to third safely, and Jeong Hoon to reach first base. In the next at-bat LG relief pitcher Lim Chan-Kyu made a throw to first base to keep Jeong in check, but it got past first baseman Kim Yong-Ui, allowing Kang to score from third base.

Doosan 6 - NC 5, Seoul (Jamsil)

Doosan appeared to be cruising to an easy win, up 5-1 at the end of the 8th inning. But NC did not give up, scoring four runs in the top of the 9th to tie the score at 5-5. Doosan ended the game with two outs in the bottom of the 9th with a walk-off single by centerfielder Min Byung-Hyeon.
