KIA 13 - Nexen 9, Seoul (Mokdong)

Nexen first baseman Park Byung-Ho hit two homeruns and finished with seven RBIs in the game. Park hit a total of four homeruns in the three game series, and now leads the league in homeruns, but as hard as he tried he couldn't win the game by himself. Nexen starter Brandon Knight gave up eight runs in just 3 1/3 innings, and the Nexen bullpen didn't fair much better against KIA's bats. KIA finished with 15 hits, 13 runs, and reclaimed first place in the league standings.

Samsung 6 - Lotte 1, Busan (Sajik)

Samsung had a big 2nd inning, scoring four runs, including a two-run homerun by shortstop Kim Sang-Su. Lotte would not score until the bottom of the 9th, but the one run wasn't enough. Samsung's Dutch starter Rick VandenHurk pitched seven scoreless innings and gave up only four hits, earning his second win of the season.

Doosan 5 - LG 2, Seoul (Jamsil)

This game remained scoreless until the top of the 6th, when LG's Jeong Ui-Yoon came to the plate with the bases loaded and one out. He hit a grounder to second, but Doosan was unable to convert the double play, allowing one run to score. Doosan answered in the bottom half of the inning when Son Si-Hyun hit a bases loaded triple to score three runs. Doosan never trailed from that point on.

SK 8 - Hanwha 5, Daejeon

SK rightfielder Han Dong-Min hit a grand slam in the top of the fifth, the first grand slam of his career. Hanwha got five hits in the bottom half of the inning to tie the score at five each. The game remained tied until the top of the 8th when SK put together a series of three hits and two sacrifices to put the final three runs on the board and secure the win.
