LG 5 - Nexen 4, Seoul (Jamsil) [Box Score]

LG did all of their scoring early in the game, up 5-2 after 3 innings. Nexen would score 2 in the top of the 7th to make the game close. They had a final chance to tie or take the lead in the top of the 9th with shortstop Kang Jung-Ho coming to the plate with the bases loaded and 1 out. Unfortunately for the Heroes, Kang hit a grounder to shortstop which resulted in a double play, ending the game. LG starter Woo Kyu-Min came away with the win after allowing 5 hits and 2 runs in 5 innings. Andy Van Hekken took the loss for Nexen, allowing 5 earned runs in just 2 2/3 innings. Bong Jung-Keun earned the save, although he came dangerously close to blowing it at the end. LG completed the sweep, and Nexen has now lost seven games in a row.

KIA 9 - SK 7, Gwangju [Box Score]

It was a high scoring game, but KIA never trailed. The Tigers scored most of their runs early, leading 6-1 after 4 innings. SK first baseman Park Jung-Won did his best to get his team back in the game, hitting back to back homeruns in the 5th and 7th innings. Park finished with 4 RBIs but it wasn't enough. KIA was lead by right fielder Na Ji-Wan who went 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs, including a homerun in the 1st inning. The Tigers also set a new record in this game, after making 6 pitching changes in the top of the 7th, the most pitching substitutions in a single inning in KBO history.. The win went to KIA starter Kim Jin-Woo. The series ends with KIA winning 2 games. Friday's game was cancelled due to rain and will be made up later in the season. KIA is now on a 7 game winning streak, and they will have a great opportunity to extend it as they face bottom feeder Hanwha next week.

Samsung 7 - NC 7, Changwon [Box Score]

NC held the lead for most of the game, ahead 6-2 after 5 innings, but Samsung slowly worked their way back into it, even taking the lead at 7-6 in the top of the 8th inning on a 2-RBI triple by Jeong Hyeong-Sik. NC would tie the game in the bottom of the 8th on a solo homerun by third baseman Mo Chang-Min. It was Mo's second homerun of the day, having also hit another solo shot in the bottom of the 5th. It would be the final run of the game, as the teams played through 12 and ended with a 7-7 tie.

Lotte 4 - Hanwha 3, Busan [Box Score]

Lotte scored all 4 of their runs in the 4th inning, mostly as a result of poor Hanwha pitching, as starter Yu Chang-Sik and reliever Kim Kwang-Soo combined for 5 walks in the inning. Hanwha would slowly chip their way back into the game, scoring a run each in the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings, but they still ended up 1 run short. Lotte won the series 2-1.
