SK 0 - Nexen 6, Seoul (Mokdong) [Box Score] [Video Highlights]

Nexen's rookie right-fielder Kang Ji-Kwang was the star of the show today, blasting two shots for a total of three RBIs. In addition to Kang's bat, the Hero's pitching staff put on a good show keeping the Wyverns to only two hits. Starter Moon Sung-Hyun chalked up the win with four no hit innings, three strikeouts and allowing two bases on balls. SK also looked weak on defense, with three errors two of which at the hands of shortstop Shin Hyeon-Cheol.

NC 2 - Hanhwa 2, Daejeon [Box Score] [Video Highlights]

Hanhwa chalked up a couple of runs in the bottom of the 5th on a single by center-fielder Ko Dong-Jin, but in the top of the 7th a triple by Eagles center-fielder Na Sung-Bum scored a run and he was in turn knocked in with a single by third-baseman Mo Chang-Min. Aside from that, there wasn't a lot of action in the game, with each team chalking up six hits spread out across the innings and it being a tie no-one chalked up the win.  NC starter Eric Hacker had a decent outing though, with three innings of hitless ball and only allowing one walk.

LG - Samsung, Daegu - Rained Out.
