LG 11 - Hanwha 3, Daejeon

LG went up early, and never trailed in this one. The difference in this game was walks. The Eagles actually racked up more hits than the Twins, but the Hanwha pitching staff walked 10 LG batters, putting runners on base and giving them more opportunities to score. Half of those walks were given up by starter Song Chang-Hyun, who lasted just 1 1/3 innings. LG pitchers, on the other hand, walked only 3 Hanwha batters. The Twins took advantage of run scoring opportunities, while the Eagles stranded countless runners on base. Woo Kyu-Min was the winner for LG, going 5 innings, giving up 7 hits and 2 runs. The LG hot streak continues, having won 10 out of their last 12.

SK 7 - Doosan 5, Seoul (Jamsil)

Doosan scored first on an RBI single by Kim Hyun-Soo in the bottom of the 3rd to take the lead 1-0, but SK answered back quickly scoring 3 runs in the top of the 4th to go up 3-1. The Wyverns were able to hold the lead until the end of the game. Doosan starter Lee Jeong-Ho was pulled after giving up 4 hits and 3 runs in just 3 innings. Kim Kwang-Hyun earned the win for SK, giving up 8 hits and 2 earned runs in 7 innings. Doosan continues to struggle, having now lost 6 games in a row.

KIA 7 - NC 2, Gwangju

KIA scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st and never trailed for the rest of the game. The Dinos would tie it up at 2-2 in the top of the 4th, but unfortunately that would be the end of NC's scoring for the night. KIA retook the lead in the bottom of the inning and never looked back. Eric Hacker pitched 7 innings, giving up 6 hits and 4 runs to take the loss for NC. Hacker's record now stands at 1-5 for the season. KIA starter Lim Joon-Seop was credited with the win.
