Hanwha 8 - KIA 3, Gwangju [Box Score] [Video Highlights]

This was a very close game, with KIA holding the lead at 3-2 after 6 innings of play. Hanwha managed to tie the game at 3-3 after an RBI double by Kim Dong-Jin in the top of the 9th. The game went into extra innings, and the score remained the same until the top of the 12th when Hanwha came through with 5 runs off of 4 walks, 2 singles, and 2 sacrifices. KIA went down quietly in the bottom half of the inning and the game ended with a score of 8-3. The game lasted 5 hours and 28 minutes, making it the longest game so far this season, and the 7th longest in the history of the KBO. The KIA Tigers continue to struggle to find a way to win games. Following tonight's loss they have only won 2 out of their last 10.

LG 5 - Lotte 3, Busan [Box Score] [Video Highlights]

LG went up 3-0 in the top of the 5th inning following homeruns by Park Yong-Taik and Son Joo-In. LG starting pitcher Radhames Liz looked great at the beginning of the game. He did not allow a single hit through 5 2/3 innings, but once the first one was out of the bag the hits continued for the Giants. Lotte DH Jang Sung-Ho hit a 3-run homerun in the bottom of the 7th to tie the score. The score remained tied and the game eventually went into extra innings. LG shortstop Oh Ji-Hwan hit a 2-run homerun in the top of the 11th to put the Twins ahead 5-3. The Giants failed to score in the bottom half of the inning and the game was over.

SK 6 - Nexen 5, Incheon [Box Score] [Video Highlights]

The Heroes attempted a comeback, scoring 1 run in the 7th on an RBI double by Yoo Han-Joon. Park Byung-Ho hit his second homerun of the game, a solo shot in the 8th, to bring the score to 6-5, but that was as close as Nexen would get to the comeback.
