Nexen 6 - NC 4, Changwon

NC was leading this game 3-2 until the top of the 8th inning when NC reliever Lee Seong-Min gave up a single followed by a walk. Lee Min-Ho replaced him and gave up two more walks, bringing the tying run home. The two relievers combined for three consecutive walks. The game remained tied at 3-3, going into extra innings. Nexen would go on to load the bases with two outs in the top of the 11th. All the pressure was on pinch hitter Kim Min-Woo, who hit a double to left-center, clearing the bases and putting Nexen ahead 6-3. The Dinos would score one run in the bottom half of the inning, but it wasn't enough for the comeback.

LG 7 - Hanwha 1, Seoul (Jamsil)

Hanwha starting pitcher Kim Kyung-Tae lasted only 1 1/3 innings, giving up 6 hits and a walk. The relievers didn't fare much better and LG built an early lead that the Eagles could not recover from. LG starter Ben Jukich went 5 1/3 innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 walk while earning the win. Jukich improved to 3-3 on the season. The series is now tied at 1-1 with the final game set for tomorrow in Daejeon.

Lotte 3 - Doosan 0, Busan (Sajik)

Lotte starting pitcher Lee Jae-Kon went 6 1/3 innings and allowed only 1 hit. Doosan's offense was cold, earning a total of only 3 hits for the entire game. Lee earned his first win as a starter since May 17, 2011, over 2 years ago. On the offensive side The Giants were lead by first baseman Park Jong-Yun who went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs. Lotte leads the series 2-0 against the Bears.
