LG 5 - Doosan 3, Seoul (Jamsil)

LG left fielder Park Yong-Taik hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 3rd to give LG the early 4-0 lead, a lead that the Bears would never recover from. It was Park's second grand slam in just five days, having hit one on Friday against KIA. LG's Woo Kyu-Min earned the win after giving up 4 hits and 2 runs in 5 innings. Starter Kim Sun-Woo took the loss for Doosan, lasting just 3 innings. The series is now tied 1-1, and the Jamsil rivals will meet again tomorrow for the final game of the series.

Nexen 3 - Samsung 3, Seoul (Mokdong)

Nexen scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st, but Samsung would answer right back with a 2-run homerun by Park Seok-Min in the top of the 2nd. Nexen retook the lead at 3-2 in the bottom of the 3rd on an RBI double by Kang Jung-Ho. They held the lead until Samsung tied it up on an RBI double by right fielder Park Han-Yi in the top of the 7th. The score remained tied heading into extra innings, but neither team would score or even put a runner in scoring position in the extra frames. The game ended in a 3-3 tie, the first tie of the season for both teams, leaving the LG Twins as the only KBO team without a tie so far this season.

NC 11 - SK 5, Changwon

The NC Dinos gave SK everything they had, and then some. The leader of the night was designated hitter Lee Ho-Jun who went 3 for 3 with 2 walks, 2 singles, and a grand slam, for a total of seven RBIs. The game was even more lopsided than the final score would suggest, as SK scored 4 of their 5 runs in the 9th inning. Kim Kwang-Hyun took the loss for SK, while NC's Son Min-Han earned the win, his first KBO win since July 29, 2009, nearly four years ago.

Lotte 6 - KIA 3, Busan

With the score tied 1-1 after 3 innings, the Lotte Giants went on a 2-out rally in the bottom of the 4th. After 2 quick outs the Giants racked up 2 walks and 3 singles to take the lead 4-1. KIA would make it a close game, bring the score to 4-3 after catcher Cha Il-Mok hit a 2 RBI single in the top of the 6th, but it wasn't enough to catch up with Lotte. The Giants would score 2 more in the bottom of the 8th and the game ended with a score of 6-3. With the series tied at 1 game each the two teams will meet again tomorrow in Busan.
