Following last night's incident in Jamsil, Doosan relief pitcher Yun Myeong-Jun has been fined 2 million won, and will be suspended for the next 8 games. The decision was made by the KBO during a meeting at 11am today in Seoul. Yun beaned two consecutive batters during last night's game against the Nexen Heroes. Yun had received a warning from the umpire after the first one, and proceeded to hit the second batter with the very next pitch.

It is the second such incident to occur this season. On April 18 Lotte reliever Jin Myeong-Ho was ejected after beaning Nexen's Seo Geon-Chang. Jin, however, received a lighter punishment than Yun. He was fined 1 million won and suspended for 5 games.

In total it was the third ejection of the season, the other being Doosan DH Hong Seong-Heun's rather heated argument with the homeplate umpire after a called strike three on April 5. Hong was fined 1 million won but did not receive a suspension.
